Silic One is a biocide-free antifouling. The silicone-based hydrogel microlayer creates a smooth, low-friction surface. This Silic One layer prevents organisms from attaching to the hull and propeller, while the silicone polymers promote self-cleaning.

What is it used for?
For use as a non-stick coating for boats
– Polyester
– Steel
– Aluminium

Available colours & sizes
Colours: Black 19990 – Blue 30390 – Red 59151
Sizes: 375ML – 750ML

Surface preparation
Cleanliness
– Remove oil, grease and other contaminants with a suitable cleaning agent.

New build:
– Not for untreated surfaces.
– Apply Hempel’s Silic One only over Hempel’s Silic One Tiecoat.

Maintenance and repair:
– Damaged silicone surface:
If there is minor damage to the topcoat and the yellow Tiecoat (adhesion coat) is visible:
Apply 1 coat of Silic One over an area slightly larger than the damaged area.
