trae-lyx-naturel-grondlak
Trae Lyx Natural Base Coat

With Trae Lyx Natural Undercoat, your floor retains a natural appearance because it discolours the wood less. Trae Lyx Natural Undercoat is a water-based, single-component clear primer for parquet, plank flooring and furniture. It has been specially developed to isolate extractives found in woods such as oak and beech. Trae Lyx Natural Undercoat prevents discolouration and bleeding from knots and grain into the paint layer. It is water-based and virtually odourless. When Trae Lyx Natural Undercoat is applied to dark wood, a white haze may occur. If you want a more vibrant wood colour, we recommend using the standard Trae Lyx Undercoat.

Application

For use on bare wood indoors only.

Trae Lyx Natural Undercoat has a high solid content, high viscosity and good wetting properties.

Wood and small gaps and crevices are well filled by Trae Lyx Natural Undercoat, resulting in a smooth surface for the subsequent layers of parquet varnish.

Fibre raising is kept to a minimum.

Isolates extractives found in some woods (e.g. tannic acid), preventing unsightly streaks or discolouration.

Properties

Gloss level: Matt
Colour: Transparent clear.
