The OTIUM Hibiscus Plank Dryback is a stylish PVC floor with a natural wood appearance. The calm plank design, matte finish and tactile wood texture create a warm and realistic look. This allows the Hibiscus to fit perfectly into both modern and classic interiors.

This floor belongs to the OTIUM at Home Original series and is fully glued down to the subfloor. Thanks to its low overall thickness of just 2.5 mm and low thermal resistance, this Dryback PVC floor is particularly suitable for use with underfloor heating and underfloor cooling.

The strong 0.55 mm top layer makes the floor suitable for intensive domestic use and commercial applications. The Micro 4V beveling subtly highlights the individual planks, enhancing the character of a genuine wooden plank floor.

Application

The OTIUM Hibiscus Plank Dryback is a versatile PVC floor suitable for living rooms, kitchens, bedrooms, hallways and other living spaces. Thanks to its high usage classes, the floor is also suitable for heavily used rooms and commercial applications.

The strong 0.55 mm top layer provides good protection against daily wear and tear. The natural wood texture and matte finish combine the appearance of a wooden floor with the ease of maintenance offered by PVC.

Underfloor heating and underfloor cooling

With a thermal resistance of just 0.017 m²K/W, the OTIUM Hibiscus is particularly suitable for underfloor heating. Its low thickness and fully glued installation ensure efficient heat transfer.

The floor is also suitable for use with underfloor cooling.

Installation

The OTIUM Hibiscus is a Dryback PVC floor and must be fully glued down to the subfloor. For the best results, the subfloor must be flat, dry, clean and sufficiently stable.

Proper preparation of the subfloor is important for Dryback PVC. Depending on the existing subfloor, self-levelling may be necessary before gluing down the PVC floor.

Maintenance

The OTIUM Hibiscus PVC floor is easy to maintain. Regular vacuuming and cleaning with a slightly damp mop is usually sufficient for daily maintenance.

It is recommended to use a cleaning agent specifically designed for PVC floors and to avoid harsh or abrasive cleaning products.
