AZET CANDOR HIGH GLOSS P3

Candor High Gloss P3 is an exceptionally high-quality high-gloss topcoat based on a special combination of alkyd resins. Its smooth application and excellent coverage guarantee a high-gloss finish with extremely long-lasting outdoor durability. Its good curing at lower temperatures makes Candor High Gloss P3 suitable for application during almost any season.

Bio-based* Nearly half of the raw materials used in the production of P3 High Gloss are based on young carbon of plant origin.

Application
Candor High Gloss P3 is applied outdoors to wood and metal substrates that have been treated with a suitable primer, and to well-adhered old alkyd resin paint layers. Use Candor Perfect Primer P3 as the base for the paint system for an optimal finish and excellent outdoor durability.

Preparation
• Remove all loose parts.
• Clean/degrease the substrate with Azet Expo.
• Rinse with clean water.
• Sand the substrate with 240-280 grit sandpaper
• Prime bare areas/repairs with Perfect Primer P3 and lightly sand after curing.
• If necessary, prime the entire surface with Perfect Primer P3 and lightly sand with 280 grit sandpaper after curing.

Application
Candor High Gloss P3 is applied to a dry substrate. Stir the product thoroughly before use.

• Application conditions: minimum ambient temperature 10°C / R.H. < 80% – moisture content in wood < 18%
• Solid content: 70% (by weight)
• Dry film thickness: 40-45 micrometers – with a wet film thickness of 60-70 micrometers
• Thinning: optionally with 2% odor-free turpentine
• Application tools: brush or short-nap paint roller
• Coverage: 14 m² per liter
• Touch dry: after 3 hours
• Overcoatable: after 20 hours

Practical information
• Tool cleaning: with turpentine immediately after use.
• Storage: cool and dry
• Shelf life: 2 years in unopened original packaging.
• Packaging: 1 – 2½ liter cans
• Color: white and virtually all colors via the Azet color mixing system
