AZET INTEGRA HECHTPRIMER

Integra Hechtprimer is a water-borne primer based on a combined alkyd/acrylic binder. This primer adheres excellently to almost all surfaces. Can be overcoated with water-borne and solvent-based paints.

Application
Integra Hechtprimer is applied indoors and outdoors to surfaces where a standard undercoat usually does not adhere sufficiently. Suitable surfaces include asbestos cement, metal, zinc, aluminum, hard PVC, tiles and glass. (Not suitable for anodized
aluminum, polypropylene and polyethylene).

Preparation
• Remove old paint layers that do not adhere well.
• Clean/degrease the surface with Azet Expo.
• Rinse with clean water.
• Sand the surface to a matte finish and remove all dust.

Application
Stir well before use. Applying the recommended film thickness ensures optimal flow. Azet Integra Hechtprimer achieves optimal adhesion after ± 5 days of drying. However, the primer can be overcoated with water-borne paints after 3 hours and with solvent-based products after 16 hours. The drying time (and thus the recoat time) can be significantly extended by low temperatures or the application of a dark color.

• Film thickness: dry 25-35 micrometers, wet 50-60 micrometers
• Thinning: clean water, maximum 5% (spray)
• Application tools: acrylic brush, short-nap paint roller, Aircoat spray gun

– spray nozzle: 0.09—0.011 inches
– air pressure: 2½ bar

• Coverage: 10 m² per liter
• Dry to touch: after 1 hour
• Recoat time: after 3 hours with water-borne paints and after 16 hours with solvent-based paints.

Practical information
• Tool cleaning: with water and soap immediately after use.
• Storage: Store frost-free.
• Shelf life: minimum 1 year in unopened original packaging.
• Packaging: 1-2½ liter cans.
• Color: white and almost all colors via the Azet color mixing system.
