BRILLUX Superlux 3000

The BRILLUX Superlux 3000 is a high-quality matt interior wall paint for a particularly even and uniform surface appearance. Thanks to its long open time, this paint is highly suitable for large and continuous wall and ceiling surfaces, even under critical lighting conditions such as grazing light. 

The BRILLUX Superlux 3000 is free from preservatives, solvents and plasticizers, low-emission and highly water-vapour permeable. This makes the paint suitable for high-quality interior finishes in homes, offices and other representative spaces. 

Very even result under grazing light

The BRILLUX Superlux 3000 was specially developed for surfaces where lap marks and roller marks should be as inconspicuous as possible. The long open time supports uniform application and makes the paint particularly suitable for ceilings, large walls and spaces with a lot of incident light. 

The paint has a matt gloss level G4 and a fine surface texture according to EN 13300. 

High opacity and good abrasion resistance

The BRILLUX Superlux 3000 has scrub resistance class R2. The white version has opacity class H10-1 at 7 m²/l and anti-yellowing at 8 m²/l. This allows the paint to combine high opacity with a durable and professional final result. 

The paint is also highly water-vapour permeable and has an Sd value of less than 0.1 metres.

Depending on the suction, load-bearing capacity and condition of the substrate, a suitable BRILLUX primer or bonding primer may be required beforehand.

Application

The BRILLUX Superlux 3000 is highly suitable for high-quality wall and ceiling finishes in homes, offices, commercial buildings and other interior spaces.

Especially on large surfaces and in spaces with critical lighting, the paint offers advantages by providing a uniform and even final appearance. This makes the paint particularly suitable for professional painting work where high standards are set for the appearance of the final result. 

Application

The BRILLUX Superlux 3000 can be applied with a brush, roller or airless spray equipment. For an optimal result, the substrate must be firm, dry, clean and load-bearing.

If necessary, the paint can be slightly diluted with water, for example for a low-build finish on very smooth substrates. The application temperature must be at least +5 °C. 

The coverage is approximately 130-150 ml/m² per coat. The exact coverage depends on the substrate and application method. 

At approximately 20 °C and 65% relative humidity, the paint is surface-dry after approximately 4 to 6 hours and can be further finished.
