BRILLUX Topp 946

The BRILLUX Topp 946 is a high-quality matt dispersion paint for particularly efficient interior wall and ceiling finishes. The paint has been specially developed for a sleek and calm final result and is also highly suitable for large surfaces and spaces with critical grazing light.

The BRILLUX Topp 946 is free from preservatives, solvents and plasticizers and has low emissions. Thanks to the long open time and very good workability, the paint is pleasant to apply and creates a beautifully even surface. 

Sleek result, even with grazing light

The BRILLUX Topp 946 is particularly suitable for walls and ceilings where high demands are placed on the surface appearance. The long open time helps to limit lap marks and makes the paint highly suitable for large surfaces and situations in which incident or grazing light quickly makes unevenness visible.

The paint has a matt gloss level G4 and a fine surface texture according to EN 13300.

Very good coverage and scrub resistance

The BRILLUX Topp 946 has scrub resistance class R1 and coverage class H10 class 1 at 6 m²/l. This means the paint combines high coverage with a strong and durable painted surface.

In addition, the paint is highly water vapour permeable and falls into class I in terms of diffusion behaviour according to DIN EN ISO 7783.

Suitable for various substrates

The BRILLUX Topp 946 can be applied to various load-bearing interior substrates, including:

Depending on the substrate, a suitable Brillux undercoat may be required beforehand.

Application

The BRILLUX Topp 946 can be applied with a brush, roller or suitable spray equipment. The substrate must be firm, dry, clean, load-bearing and free from substances that can reduce adhesion.

Depending on the substrate and the existing layer, a suitable Brillux primer or undercoat may be required beforehand.
