GIGA PAINT ALK SILK GLOSS PU
The Giga Paint ALK Silk Gloss PU is for top-coating wooden surfaces outdoors. Suitable for use in all four seasons. Also suitable as a topcoat over plastics, ferrous and non-ferrous metals, provided they have been treated with the correct primer and undercoat.
Suitable for new construction, renovation and maintenance work.
APPLICATION:
Application conditions:
The following conditions are necessary for proper (through) drying of the
product:
- Stir well before use
- Maximum relative humidity of 85%
- Surface and ambient temperature between 5°C and 25°C
- The surface temperature must be at least 3°C above the dew point.
- Ensure adequate ventilation
- Thinning is not necessary. If necessary, thin with a maximum of 2% paint thinner.
SYSTEM – PREPARATION
General:
- Remove contaminants, powder and irregularities
- Carefully remove mold/or soap residues with a suitable cleaning agent.
- The surface must be clean, dry and dust-free. Degrease if necessary.
- Remove damaged and/or loose paint layers.
- Where necessary, restore/repair the surface with a suitable repair product.
- Sand the repaired areas flat after drying.
