GIGA PAINT INTERIOR PRIMER
The Giga Paint Interior Primer is suitable as a primer coat on new or wall-painted surfaces. Due to its unique adhesion properties and good coverage, it provides an excellent base coat for wall paint systems. For treating walls and ceilings. Suitable for mineral substrates such as; plaster, masonry, concrete, aerated concrete.
Suitable for new construction, renovation and maintenance work.
APPLICATION:
Application conditions:
The following conditions are necessary for proper (through) drying of the
product:
- Stir well before use
- Minimum relative humidity of 60% and a maximum relative humidity of 85%
- Substrate and ambient temperature between 10°C and 25°C
- The temperature of the substrate must be at least 3°C above the dew point.
- Ensure adequate ventilation
- Thinning is not necessary. If necessary, thin with clean water.
Application method | Airless spray:
- Spray opening: 0.015 inch – 0.019 inch (tip 15 & tip 19)
- Spray angle: 40, 50 or 60 degrees (angle 4, 5 or 6)
- Spray pressure:
80-140 bar (when using low pressure in combination with a low pressure tip)
160-220 bar (When using a high pressure spray tip)
- Thinning is not necessary. The product is ready to use. If necessary, thin by 0 -10% with (clean) water.

SYSTEM – PREPARATION
General:
- Remove contaminants, powder and irregularities
- Remove mold/or soap residues carefully with a suitable cleaning agent.
- Substrate must be clean, dry and dust-free. Degrease if necessary.
- Remove damaged and/or loose paint layers.
- Maximum moisture content: Gypsum-bound substrates; 1% Stone-like substrates; 4%
- Always test the load-bearing capacity of the substrate by means of an adhesion test.
