HEMPEL’S TEAK COLOUR RESTORER 67462

Hempel's Teak Colour Restorer is a pigmented teak oil containing agents that prevent mould growth and discolouration. The wood takes on a golden brown colour after application.

What is it used for?
For use on both new and previously treated wood, indoors and outdoors. For use above the waterline.

Surface preparation
- Remove oil, grease and other contaminants with a suitable detergent.

New construction
- New wood: Clean with Hempel's Teak Cleaner. Rough surfaces can be sanded.
- Remove dust and loose material.
- The moisture content of the wood must be below 16%.

Maintenance and repair
- Previously treated wood: Remove dust and loose material.

Do not use thinner with this product.

Application conditions
- Prevent condensation by applying to a clean, dry surface at a temperature more than 3°C [5°F] above the dew point.

Relative humidity
- Relative humidity must be below 85% during drying and curing.

Notes
- Stir well before use.
- Apply a saturation coat directly to the surface. Allow the oil to penetrate the wood. Remove excess product with clean cloths to prevent a glossy film from forming after drying and to prevent the sealant from softening.
Apply a second coat if the wood is not fully saturated.

Storage conditions
- The product must be stored in accordance with local regulations, at 5°C [41°F], away from direct sunlight and protected from rain and snow.
