2K epoxy primer designed for automotive bodywork repairs. It can be applied directly to metal and protects steel surfaces against corrosion.

Substrates

Epoxy Primer 10:1 can be applied to:

• Steel and aluminum after leveling and degreasing.
• Galvanized steel after flattening and degreasing.
• Sanded polyester-glass laminates (GFK/GFK) and epoxy-glass laminates
• Polyester and epoxy fillers
• Old finishes in good condition after leveling and degreasing.
• Proper surface preparation is essential to achieve the best repair results.

  Degreasing

  Mixing ratio: 10 : 1 + 20% ÷ 30%

  Spray viscosity: 30 ÷ 50s / 20°C

  Pot life: 1.5 hours / 20°C

  2÷3 coats HVLP / RP: ø1.5 ÷ 2.0 mm

  Between coats: 10 min.
  Before baking: ~ 15 min.

  Drying time: 8 hours / 20°C - 45 min. / 60°C
  Dry sanding: P360 ÷ P500
  Wet sanding: P600 ÷ P1000
