MTN WEPRO Clear Coat High Gloss

The MTN WEPRO Clear Coat Spray Can 400ml - High Gloss is a fast-drying transparent acrylic varnish for protecting and enhancing various surfaces. The clear varnish is based on thermoplastic acrylic resin and provides a durable, high-gloss finish. 

The MTN WEPRO Clear Coat High Gloss combines good hardness and elasticity with excellent adhesion. In addition, the varnish is water-resistant, UV-resistant and does not yellow, allowing the original colour of the substrate to be beautifully preserved. 

Protective high-gloss finish

The MTN WEPRO Clear Coat High Gloss can be applied as a protective topcoat over a variety of materials. In addition to protection, the clear varnish provides extra shine and a neat appearance.

According to the technical specifications, the high-gloss variant has a gloss level of more than 80% at 60°. By applying several thin coats, a fuller and more even final result can be achieved. 

Suitable for various substrates

The MTN WEPRO Clear Coat High Gloss can be applied to, among others:

• Wood
• Steel
• Straw and wicker
• Cork
• Stone
• Painted surfaces
• Various plastics
• Other surfaces suitable for varnishing

For plastics such as PS and PP, a suitable primer must be applied beforehand. For other plastics, it is advised to first create a test area. 

Fast-drying and easy to apply

The MTN WEPRO Clear Coat High Gloss is touch-dry after approximately 10 minutes and can also be sprayed over again after approximately 10 minutes. The varnish is fully cured after approximately 12 hours. 

For the best result, the manufacturer advises applying several thin coats. Three thin coats generally give a better result than one thick coat.

Application

The MTN WEPRO Clear Coat High Gloss is suitable as a transparent protective layer on both painted and various untreated surfaces. The varnish can be used for, among others, painting, decorative applications, automotive work, restoration, hobby work and general maintenance work.

When using over new or existing paint layers, it is always advised to first create a test area. In some cases, the clear varnish may react with the underlying paint layer and cause it to crack or deteriorate. 

Use

Shake the MTN WEPRO Clear Coat High Gloss vigorously for approximately one minute before use.

Apply the varnish to a clean and dry substrate and work with several thin coats. On rusty metal surfaces, all corrosion must first be removed. For PS and PP plastics, a suitable plastic primer must first be applied. 

After use, hold the spray can upside down and spray briefly to clean the valve. Use the spray can exclusively in a well-ventilated environment.
