The MTN WEPRO Clear Coat 400ml Spray Can - Satin Finish is a fast-drying transparent acrylic varnish for protecting and enhancing various surfaces. The clear varnish is based on thermoplastic acrylic resin and provides a neat satin finish without the strong shine of a high-gloss varnish. 

The MTN WEPRO Clear Coat Satin Finish has good hardness, excellent adhesion and good elasticity. In addition, the varnish is water-resistant, UV-resistant and non-yellowing, ensuring that the treated surface remains protected for a long time. 

Beautiful satin finish

The MTN WEPRO Clear Coat Satin Finish is suitable as a transparent protective layer when a calm, subtle shine is desired. The satin finish variant has a gloss level of approximately 15-35% at 60°. 

Applying several thin coats creates a uniform and durable finish. The manufacturer recommends applying three thin coats rather than one thick coat.

• Other surfaces suitable for varnishing

For plastics such as PS and PP, a suitable primer must first be applied. For other types of plastic, it is advised to first create a test area. 

Fast-drying and easy to apply

The MTN WEPRO Clear Coat Satin Finish is touch-dry after approximately 10 minutes and can be sprayed over again after approximately 10 minutes. The varnish is fully cured after approximately 12 hours. 

The theoretical yield is approximately 2 m² per spray can, depending on the substrate, layer thickness and application method.

Application

The MTN WEPRO Clear Coat Satin Finish is suitable as a transparent topcoat for both painted and various untreated surfaces. The varnish can be used for, among others, paintwork, automotive applications, damage repair, decorative work, restoration and general maintenance work.

When applying over existing or recently applied paint layers, it is advised to first create a test area. The clear varnish can react with certain underlying paint systems. 

Usage

Shake the MTN WEPRO Clear Coat Satin Finish vigorously for approximately one minute before use.

Apply the varnish to a clean and dry substrate. Remove any rust from metal surfaces and use a suitable primer first for PS and PP plastics. Apply several thin coats for the best result.

After use, hold the spray can upside down and spray briefly to clean the valve. Use the spray can exclusively in a well-ventilated environment.
