RAPTOR Flameproof is designed to protect metal parts from extremely high temperatures of up to 1000°C. Ideal for exhaust manifolds, headers, complete exhaust systems, and other components continuously exposed to heat.

Thanks to advanced ceramic technology, this coating provides exceptional adhesion and long-lasting protection against oil, fuels, and other commonly used automotive liquids. Once fully cured, it creates a smooth, durable finish that resists cracking, peeling, and flaking.

Suitable for primed metals such as steel, aluminum, and alloys.

Application – Step by step

1. Preparation – Clean and degrease the surface. Mask off parts that should not be treated.
2. Sanding – Use P180–P220 sandpaper on bare surfaces or P500 on primed surfaces. Clean again.
3. Spraying – Shake the can for at least 2 minutes. Apply 2–3 thin coats from a distance of approximately 25 cm. Wait 10 minutes between coats.
4. Drying and curing – Touch-dry within 30 minutes. Allow to dry for at least 4 hours.
   For full curing:
   - Allow to dry overnight, or
   - Apply a heat cycle (1 hour at 150°C, or let the engine idle for 30 minutes).

Number of coats
For optimal protection, we recommend 2–3 thin coats.

Cleaning the spray can
Hold the spray can upside down and spray until only propellant comes out. This prevents clogging.

Storage
Store in a cool, dry place. Avoid direct sunlight and temperatures above 50°C.
