Productomschrijving
Trae Lyx Naturel Extreme gives wood an ultra-matte oiled appearance. It is extremely suitable for parquet, plank flooring and furniture in living spaces and public areas, such as shops and restaurants, that are exposed to very intensive use. The paint is low-odour, easy to apply, very smooth and fast-drying. The dry layer is not yellowing. Offers resistance to wear, gloss streaks, household chemicals, scuff marks and (micro-) scratches.
Trae Lyx Naturel Extreme is remarkably durable and easy to maintain. The paint is a water-borne, solvent-free 2-component paint of project quality on a polyurethane basis.
Trae Lyx Naturel Extreme is also suitable for dark wood types.

APPLICATION DATA
Application method:
Use an acrylic brush or 7-9 mm microfibre roller (100 MU).
Surface preparation:
- The surface must be clean, dry, dust- and grease-free.
- Degrease old, intact layers thoroughly, remove polish layers with Trae Lyx
Polish Remover and then sand.
- Do not apply to moisture-curing PU paint layers.
- On unknown surfaces, make a test application.
- On wood types with water-soluble substances and/or pH sensitivity, the application of Trae Lyx
Undercoat is necessary.
Thinning:
Trae Lyx Naturel Extreme is ready to use.
Do not thin, because the carefully tuned balance of properties will be adversely affected.
Application:
- Shake the hardener well before use (the hardener must be thin and liquid).
- Add the hardener to the naturel paint base.
- Stir thoroughly immediately and wait approximately 10 minutes. Stir thoroughly again before applying.
- Due to the milky appearance of Naturel Extreme, whitish haze patches are formed during rolling, which completely disappear during drying.
- Distribute Naturel Extreme evenly and do not leave puddles. The working time is 2 – 3 hours at 20 degrees Celsius. At a lower temperature and/or higher RH, the drying time slows down.
- Always wait until the previous layer is completely dry before applying a subsequent layer.
- Never make more than can be worked in the working time. When using multiple cans per layer, combine them first and stir well.
- Do not use at (floor-) temperatures lower than 10°C and/or a relative humidity higher than 80 %.
- Ensure sufficient ventilation (no drafts!) during the application and drying of the paint.
- Always apply full layers.
Layer build-up:
A wear-resistant paint system consists of at least 3 full layers of 10 – 12 m²/l each.
Application conditions:
Minimum 10°C and maximum 80% relative humidity.
Cleaning tools:
With plenty of water.
Maintenance:
Trae Lyx Naturel Extreme should be maintained with Trae Lyx Maintenance Product Naturel.
Special features: Do not apply to moisture- and acid-curing PU paint layers.
