APPLICATION DATA

Application method:
Flat brush and a roller.
Application:
- Shake the bottle well before use until any sediment has completely dissolved to prevent colour differences.
- Then pour the contents into a plastic or porcelain tray.
- Apply the stain with a flat brush, first evenly along the wood grain and then across the wood grain.
- On vertical sections, apply from bottom to top.
- If possible, stain board by board to prevent colour differences due to joints or overlaps.
- After 1-2 minutes, remove the excess stain with a clean brush or roller.
- Then allow the stain to dry.
- If necessary, repeat this process a few times until the desired effect/colour is achieved.
Cleaning tools:
Clean immediately with warm water after use

FINISHING

After drying, the colour stain can be finished with a clear varnish from the Trae Lyx range. It is also possible to finish the colour stain with a clear oil from the Trae Lyx oil range.

SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS

If the contents of 1 bottle are not enough for the surface to be treated, always mix the different bottles together after shaking to prevent colour differences. It is recommended to first apply a test sample.

The natural substances in some wood types (including oak, pine and spruce) can cause yellow discolouration in combination with the white Trae-Lyx Colour Stain (no. 2537). When using the white colour stain, it is advisable to first apply a test sample.
