WIJZONOL AQUA ADHESION PRIMER

The Wijzonol AQUA Adhesion Primer is a high-quality, universal, water-thinnable adhesion primer based on acrylic technology for interior and exterior use.

What is it used for?
Interior and exterior
For new, untreated, wooden, metal, plastic and stone-like surfaces and existing paintwork, after they have been cleaned and (matte) sanded. Optimal adhesion to the substrate is achieved after a few days. The ideal substrate for finishing with, among others, Wijzonol High Gloss Varnish, Silk Gloss Varnish and Matt Paint (water-thinnable). In addition to window frames, windows and doors, it is also suitable for, among others, kitchen cabinets, skirting boards, pipes and PVC pipes.

Application

– Thinning: Water.
Stir well before use and do not thin more than necessary.
– Application: A long-haired, flexible brush
A paint roller gives a beautiful result on large surfaces.
– Cleaning tools/equipment: Water.
– Check product and color before use.
– Store in a cool, frost-free place.

– Binder: Acrylic technology
– Pigment: High-quality pigments and fillers
– Density at 20 °C: Approx. 1.22 kg/dm3
– Viscosity at 20 °C: Approx. 112 K.U.
– Solid content: approx. 39% by volume
– Film thickness: 35 micrometers dry film thickness (= approx. 90 micrometers wet film thickness)
– Drying time: Drying time (20 °C / 65% relative humidity):
Touch dry after approx. 0.5 hours;
Overcoatable after approx. 4 hours;
The stated drying times are averages and depend, among other things, on the temperature and relative humidity.
– Gloss level: Matte, approx. 10 G.U. at 60°

Storage and use
– Storage: Cool and frost-free, no deterioration in the quality of the product may occur during storage.
– Maximum shelf life: 12 months (in unopened packaging). After opening the packaging, the effectiveness of the 'preservatives' in the paint may decrease. This can, in exceptional cases, allow bacteria and fungi from the outside to thrive, which could spoil the product.
