WIJZONOL COATING SATIN FINISH

Wijzonol Coating Satin Finish is a moisture-regulating, satin-finish alkyd resin-based paint for exterior use.

What to use it for?
Exterior
As a satin finish for new, untreated wood and for existing painted surfaces such as windows, window frames, doors, exterior woodwork, etc., and pre-treated metal and plastic. Apply the paint in thin coats for an optimal result.

Colours: All colours via the Wijzonol ALK colour mixing system
Packaging: 0.5L – 1L – 2.5L

Application

– Thinning: Ready to use; if necessary, thin sparingly with water.
Stir well before use and do not thin more than necessary.
– Application: Use a round or oval brush.
A paint roller gives a beautiful result on large surfaces.
– Cleaning tools/equipment: Turpentine
– Application temperature/relative humidity: Min. 5 °C ambient and substrate temperature, max. 85% relative humidity
– Check the product and colour before use.
– Store in a cool, frost-free place.

– Binder: Alkyd resin
– Pigment: High-quality pigments and fillers
– Density at 20 °C: Approx. 1.2 kg/dm3
– Viscosity at 20 °C: Approx. 90 K.U.
– Solids: Approx. 66% by volume
– Dry film thickness: 45 micrometres (= approx. 75 micrometres wet film thickness)
– Drying time: Drying time (20 °C / 65% relative humidity):
Touch dry after approx. 5 hours;
Recoatable after approx. 18 hours;
The stated drying times are averages and depend on factors such as temperature and relative humidity.
– Gloss level: Satin finish

Storage and use
– Storage: Store in a cool, frost-free place. The quality of the product must not deteriorate during storage.
– Maximum shelf life: 12 months (in unopened packaging). After opening the packaging, the effectiveness of the preservatives in the paint may decrease. In exceptional cases, this could allow bacteria and mould from the outside to enter, which could spoil the product.
