WIJZONOL INDUSTRIAL SILK GLOSS PAINT

The Wijzonol Industrial Silk Gloss Paint is a silk-gloss, scratch-resistant and corrosion-resistant primer and topcoat based on urethane alkyd resin.

What is it used for?
Outdoor
As a primer and topcoat on pre-treated metal.

Colors: All colors via the Wijzonol ALK color mixing system
Packaging: 0.5L – 1L – 2.5L

Application

– Thinning: Ready to use, if necessary thin sparingly with turpentine or white spirit.
Stir well before use and do not thin more than necessary.
– Application: Brush, Roller, Spray gun, Airmix
A paint roller gives a beautiful result on large surfaces.
– Cleaning tools/equipment: Turpentine
– Application temperature/relative humidity: Min. 5 °C ambient and substrate temperature, max. 85 % relative humidity
– Check product and color before use.
– Store in a cool and frost-free place.

– Binder: Urethane alkyd
– Pigment: High-quality pigments
– Density at 20 °C: Approx. 1.22 kg/dm3
– Viscosity at 20 °C: Approx. 97 K.U.
– Solid content: Approx. 46% by volume
– Film thickness: 35 micrometer dry film thickness (= approx. 76 micrometer wet film thickness)
– Drying time: Drying time (20 °C / 65 % relative humidity):
Dust dry after approx. 2.5 hours;
Tack-free after approx. 3.5 hours;
Recoatable after approx. 16 hours;
The stated drying times are averages and depend on factors such as temperature and relative humidity.

Storage and use
– Storage: Cool and frost-free, without any deterioration in the quality of the product during storage.
– Maximum shelf life: Use within 24 months of the batch number stated on the packaging (digits 1 and 2 = year, digits 3 and 4 = week). Assuming an unopened package.
