WIJZONOL INTERIOR PAINTS ALKYD SILK GLOSS PAINT

Wijzonol Interieurverven ALKYD Silk Gloss Paint is a universal, minimally yellowing silk gloss paint based on alkyd resin for interior use.

What can it be used for?
Interior
As a finish for wood (pretreated with Wijzonol Undercoat, thinned with turpentine), existing paintwork, metal and plastic (pretreated with Wijzonol Adhesion Primer). This silk gloss paint is minimally yellowing, scratch- and impact-resistant, provides good coverage, is easy to clean, easy to apply and thinned with turpentine.

Application

– Thinning: Ready to use, if necessary thin sparingly with turpentine.
Stir well before use and do not thin more than necessary.
– Application: Brush, roller
A paint roller gives a beautiful result on large surfaces.
– Cleaning tools/equipment: Turpentine
– Application temperature/relative humidity: Min. 8 °C – max. 25 °C ambient and substrate temperature, max. 85 % relative humidity
– Check product and colour before use.
– Store in a cool place, protected from frost.

– Binder: Alkyd resin
– Pigment: High-quality pigments and fillers
– Density at 20 °C: Approx. 1.15 kg/dm3
– Viscosity at 20 °C: Approx. 90 K.U.
– Solid content: Approx. 60% by volume
– Dry film thickness: 50 micrometres dry film thickness (= approx. 85 micrometres wet film thickness)
– Drying time: Drying time (20 °C / 65 % relative humidity):
Dust dry after approx. 3 hours;
Recoatable after approx. 18 hours;
The stated drying times are averages and depend, among other things, on the temperature and relative humidity.
– Gloss level: Silk gloss
– Theoretical coverage: 12 – 14 m²/l

Storage and use
– Storage: Cool and protected from frost; the quality of the product must not deteriorate during storage.
– Maximum shelf life: Use within 24 months of the batch number stated on the packaging (digits 1 and 2 = year, digits 3 and 4 = week). Assuming an unopened package.
