WIJZONOL LBH HIGH-BUILD UNDERCOAT

Wijzonol LBH High-Build Undercat is a universal, highly durable, high-build (overrun) undercoat and primer for outdoor use, based on alkyd resin.

What is it used for?
Outdoors
As an undercoat on wood and over primer, or as a primer on (pre)treated wood, metal and plastic. Over rough surfaces and/or sanding scratches, it provides a beautifully filling and smooth result after one coat. Thanks to its specific properties, LBH High-Build Undercat is well suited as a primer under high-gloss paints.

Packaging: 0.5L – 1L – 2.5L

Application

– Thinning: Ready to use, if necessary thin sparingly with turpentine or white spirit.
Stir well before use and do not thin more than necessary.
– Application: Brush, roller, spray gun
A paint roller provides a beautiful result on large surfaces.
– Cleaning tools/equipment: Turpentine
– Application temperature/relative humidity: Min. 0 °C ambient and substrate temperature, max. 90% relative humidity.
– Check product and colour before use.
– Store cool but frost-free.

Clean, degrease, sand and dust off the substrate to be treated. Do not apply to a damp substrate or under damp conditions.

– Binder: Alkyd resin
– Pigment: High-quality pigments and fillers
– Density at 20 °C: Approx. 1.35 kg/dm3
– Viscosity at 20 °C: Approx. 95 K.U.
– Solids: Approx. 63% by volume
– Film thickness: 50 micrometres dry film thickness (= approx. 80 micrometres wet film thickness)
– Drying time: Drying time (20 °C / 65% relative humidity):
Dust dry after approx. 1.5 hours;
Tack-free after approx. 3.5 hours;
Recoatable after approx. 16 hours;
The stated drying times are averages and depend, among other factors, on the temperature and relative humidity.
– Gloss level: Satin finish
– Theoretical coverage: 12.6 m²/l

Storage and use
– Storage: Cool and frost-free, with no deterioration in product quality during storage.
– Maximum shelf life: Use within 24 months of the batch number stated on the packaging (digits 1 and 2 = year, digits 3 and 4 = week). Assuming an unopened package.
