WIJZONOL LBH URETHAN ALKYD SILK GLOSS PAINT

The Wijzonol LBH Urethan Alkyd Silk Gloss Paint is a silk-gloss topcoat with excellent exterior durability based on urethane alkyd resin.

What is it used for?
Exterior
As a silk-gloss topcoat in LBH systems on pretreated wood, metal and plastic.

Available colours & packaging
Colours: All colours via the Wijzonol ALK colour mixing system
Packaging: 0.5L – 1L – 2.5L

Application

– Thinning: Ready to use, if necessary thin sparingly with water.
Stir well before use and do not thin more than necessary.
– Application: Brush, Roller, Spray
A paint roller gives a beautiful result on large surfaces.
– Cleaning tools/equipment: Turpentine
– Application temperature/relative humidity: Min. 0 °C ambient and substrate temperature, max. 90 % relative humidity
– Check product and colour before use.
– Store in a cool, frost-free place.

Regular cleaning promotes the durability of the paint system and the substrate.

– Binder: Urethane alkyd resin
– Pigment: High-quality pigments
– Density at 20 °C: Approx. 1.23 kg/dm3
– Viscosity at 20 °C: Approx. 95 K.U.
– Solids: Approx. 64% by volume
– Film thickness: 45 micrometres dry film thickness (= approx. 70 micrometres wet film thickness)
– Drying time: Drying time (20 °C / 65 % relative humidity):
Dust dry after approx. 2.5 hours;
Tack-free after approx. 4 hours;
Recoatable after approx. 18 hours;
The stated drying times are averages and depend on factors including temperature and relative humidity.

– Theoretical coverage: 14.2 m²/l

Storage and use
– Storage: Cool and frost-free, with no deterioration in product quality during storage.
– Maximum shelf life: Use within 24 months of the batch number stated on the packaging (digits 1 and 2 = year, digits 3 and 4 = week). Assuming an unopened package.
