WIJZONOL UNI COAT

Wijzonol Uni Coat is a universally applicable, actively corrosion-resistant, satin-finish primer and topcoat based on urethane alkyd.

What is it used for?
Exterior
As a universal primer and topcoat (1-pot) on untreated metal and plastic surfaces. Also highly suitable for overcoating existing and/or damaged coating layers.

Colors: All colors via the Wijzonol ALK color mixing system
Packaging: 1L – 2.5L

Application

– Thinning: Ready to use; if necessary, thin sparingly with turpentine or white spirit.
Stir well before use and do not thin more than necessary.
– Application: Brush, roller, air spray, airless spray
A paint roller provides a nice finish on large surfaces.
– Tool/equipment cleaning: Turpentine
– Application temperature/relative humidity: Min. 0 °C ambient and surface temperature, max. 85% relative humidity
– Check the product and color before use.
– Store in a cool, frost-free place.

Clean, degrease, sand and dust off the surface to be treated. Do not apply to a damp surface or under damp conditions.

Technical properties
– Binder: Urethane alkyd resin
– Pigment: Zinc phosphate (filler) and high-quality pigments
– Density at 20 °C: Approx. 1.16 kg/dm3
– Viscosity at 20 °C: Approx. 85 K.U.
– Solids content: Approx. 43% by volume
– Dry film thickness: 35 micrometers (= approx. 90 micrometers wet film thickness)
– Drying time: Drying time (20 °C / 65% relative humidity):
Touch dry after approx. 0.25 hours;
Recoatable after approx. 3.5 hours;
The stated drying times are averages and depend on factors such as temperature and relative humidity.
– Gloss level: Satin finish
– Theoretical coverage: 11.4 m²/l

Storage and use
– Storage: Store in a cool, frost-free place; the quality of the product must not deteriorate during storage.
– Maximum shelf life: Use within 24 months of the batch number stated on the packaging (digits 1 and 2 = year, digits 3 and 4 = week). Assuming an unopened package.
